Do I need to connect a Plasma wallet?
No. The exchange issues a deposit address on Plasma and you send XPL to it from MetaMask, Rabby, Ledger or an exchange withdrawal. Nothing is signed in the browser.
How long does XPL to BTC take?
The Plasma deposit confirms fast. The payout is a Bitcoin transaction, and Bitcoin blocks take about ten minutes, so the BTC is spendable a little later than on other routes.
Which Bitcoin address can receive the BTC?
Any Bitcoin address, legacy, SegWit or bech32 (bc1…). The payout is a normal Bitcoin transaction. You can spend it once it confirms.
Do I get real BTC?
Yes. The payout is an ordinary Bitcoin transaction to your address. It is not a wrapped token on another network and there is no claim step.
What happens if the swap fails after I send XPL?
The XPL is refunded on Plasma and the order page shows the refund status. A failed route does not leave funds stuck halfway.
