Do I need to connect an X Layer wallet?
No. The exchange issues a deposit address on X Layer and you send USDC to it from OKX Wallet, MetaMask, Rabby, Ledger or an exchange withdrawal. Nothing is signed in the browser.
How long does USDC on X Layer to BTC take?
The X Layer deposit confirms fast. The payout is a Bitcoin transaction, and Bitcoin blocks take about ten minutes, so the BTC is spendable a little later than on other routes.
Which Bitcoin address can receive the BTC?
Any Bitcoin address, legacy, SegWit or bech32 (bc1…). The payout is a normal Bitcoin transaction. You can spend it once it confirms.
Do I get real BTC?
Yes. The payout is an ordinary Bitcoin transaction to your address. It is not a wrapped token on another network and there is no claim step.
