USDC to BTC FAQ
Do I need to connect a NEAR wallet?
No. The exchange issues a deposit address on NEAR and you send USDC to it from Meteor, HOT Wallet, Ledger or an exchange withdrawal. Nothing is signed in the browser.
How long does USDC on NEAR to BTC take?
The NEAR deposit confirms fast. The payout is a Bitcoin transaction, and Bitcoin blocks take about ten minutes, so the BTC is spendable a little later than on other routes.
Which Bitcoin address can receive the BTC?
Any Bitcoin address, legacy, SegWit or bech32 (bc1…). The payout is a normal Bitcoin transaction. You can spend it once it confirms.
Do I get real BTC?
Yes. The payout is an ordinary Bitcoin transaction to your address. It is not a wrapped token on another network and there is no claim step.
What happens if the swap fails after I send USDC?
You enter a NEAR refund address on the order form before the deposit address is issued. If the route cannot complete, your USDC goes back there and the order page shows the refund.
