Do I need to connect an X Layer wallet?
No. The exchange issues a deposit address on X Layer and you send OKB to it from OKX Wallet, MetaMask, Rabby, Ledger or an exchange withdrawal. Nothing is signed in the browser.
How long does OKB to BTC take?
The X Layer deposit confirms fast. The payout is a Bitcoin transaction, and Bitcoin blocks take about ten minutes, so the BTC is spendable a little later than on other routes.
Which Bitcoin address can receive the BTC?
Any Bitcoin address, legacy, SegWit or bech32 (bc1…). The payout is a normal Bitcoin transaction. You can spend it once it confirms.
Do I get real BTC?
Yes. The payout is an ordinary Bitcoin transaction to your address. It is not a wrapped token on another network and there is no claim step.
What happens if the swap fails after I send OKB?
The OKB is refunded on X Layer and the order page shows the refund status. A failed route does not leave funds stuck halfway.
