Do I need to connect a Bitcoin wallet?

How long does BTC to ETH on Base take?
Bitcoin confirmations set the pace. Blocks take about ten minutes, so plan for tens of minutes. Once the deposit confirms, the ETH payout follows quickly.
Which Base address can receive the ETH?
Any Base address, a standard 0x… EVM address. Base uses the same 0x address as Ethereum, so an existing EVM wallet already works.
Do I get real ETH?
Yes. The payout is an ordinary Base transaction to your address. It is not a wrapped token on another network and there is no claim step.
What happens if the swap fails after I send BTC?
The BTC is refunded on Bitcoin and the order page shows the refund status. A failed route does not leave funds stuck halfway.
